Gorges d'Héric are an Exceptionnal natural site Mons-la-Trivalle5 km . 315 m difference in altitude.
Duration : 1h30/2h (return by the same path)

Toll car park from Esater to mid-september On site, picnic tables, toilets, water .... Starting point for many hikes.
From the gorges’ car park, reach the charming hamlet of Heric.
A nature trail gives you information on the fauna, flora, and geology.
Prior to going to the Gorges d’ Heric, you can purchase the "Gorges Heric booklet" for € 3 (only in french) at the tourist office. It will help you answer the questions asked along the trail.
Early morning or at dusk, you might see moutain sheep, which are numerous in the Caroux. Moutain sheep of Corsica was introduced into the Caroux massif in 1956 and acclimatized very well in this southern mountainous area. The area now has the largest moutain sheep population in France
“Malviès trail” in OlarguesInitially Olargues, one of the "most beautiful villages in France", a hike in the bush and scrub the Foothills. The road is wide, well-marked, rises steadily. Nice view of Olargues and Caroux. Bacoulette the neck of the possibility of an additional loop towards the Naudech. 360 ° beautiful. On the way down you pass in the Hameau de la Salle by CALADE way. A final ascent to Buis Pass and you join the greenway that will allow you to enter Olargues.

“Ayrolle trail” in Roquebrun
This beautiful trail climbs the fabulous Gorges de l'Orb to the foot of the village Vieussan and leaves in the thick scrub that covers the western slope of the top of the Ayrolle. Wonderful from start to finish. Pretty shaded all the way but no water point ... In summer, you will definitely get to see canoes down the river.
Entering Ceps is through a new path opened in 2013.

This tour winds its way up through the old path rangers on the southern part of the massif of Caroux then down in the shade of chestnut trees. Gateway sighs you quickly raise Bartouyre to pass by the recently restored trail. You spend without knowing (?) At the foot of many paths climbing. Nice view of the head of Braque and Circus Farrières. At the pass, after a short flat part you descend to Saint Martin by a steep trail well.
7.5 km. 671 m difference in altitude. Difficult.
Colombières' Gorges trail
After the view point over the gorges, you will cross a moorland plateau with broom and heather, then go back down via an old Roman road through the century-old oak and chestnut trees.

“Our Lady Chapel of Tredos trail”From Riols, you’ll go through Prémian and reach the “Our Lady Chapel of Tredos” (located in St. Etienne d'Albagnan). The trail dominates the Jaur valley and offers outstanding views of the Somail massif and Saut de Vésoles (River chute)

"Tour of Lake Vesoles" in PrémianForest environment for this walk around Lake Vésoles (or Vezoles) wich leads to magnificent view points. This protected site features peat bogs and remarkable flora. Outstanding panoramic view point at Saut de Vésoles (Municipality of Prémian)

From Duch, this walk crosses the plateau bog. A plank road allows you to cross closer. The rest of the landscape is made of heath, heather and broom. You will also pass near the top of Caroux and the viewpoint that will guide your gaze of Mont Ventoux in the Pyrenees.
3h. 8km. Moyen.
Initially the hamlet of Mauroul, this course allows you to discover the streets of Mauroul his laundry, four waterfalls and a ferruginous water source. On the course, botanical information possible to discover the local flora.
