Enjoy a unique place with varying landscapes. Mountains, forests, waterfalls carved by the stream of Arles are the Gorges de Colombières, wilder than Heric Gorge.
There are many walks to join the Caroux, the most famous "PR Gorges Colombières" 13 km, with probably one of the biggest existing uneven in "PR" in Herault (818 m). Leave for about 5 hours of walking, follow the yellow signs that allows you to back up the Gorge under the shade of chestnut (pretty rough start, 400m altitude), discover the rocks that are home to cave houses before enjoying the pools Fage the descent is done on an old Roman road caladée, which winds through chestnut woods between heather and broom. Passages furnished with large slabs are regularly laid flat for your safety.
We do not recommend this hike in foggy or wet weather, some parts can be slippery and dangerous, or if you suffer from vertigo.
